Florida is a state bound by a constitution instituted to protect the rights of its citizens. It is a privilege to share my passion and vision for a better Florida where Floridians can prosper, grow and maintain a quality of life – a life we all deserve.

As a practicing Attorney in the Public Defender’s office and an Elected Official to the Pinellas County School Board, I understand and feel the effects of the decisions made in Tallahassee. Working in the justice system and serving on the school board who governs over a district of 16,000 employees, over 140 schools and technical centers and a budget of 1.5 billion, provides new perspective and opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Ten years of community and public service at the local level has given me the opportunity to understand that the key to earning trust and respect from the citizens you serve is to be an advocate for solutions that serve their interests and their needs. Strong and innovative leadership exemplifies the characteristics we need at the State level.
